Harlequin at the Alte Oper

For an evening at the iconic Alte Oper Frankfurt, the Harlequin concept transformed the space into a theatrical world of color, movement, and playful elegance. Inspired by the historic Harlequin figure, the design explored contrast, rhythm, and visual illusion through sculptural florals, geometric elements, reflective surfaces, and suspended installations.

Flowers were used not as traditional decoration but as artistic gestures—adding texture, color, and movement throughout the space. The result was an immersive environment that balanced the grandeur of the opera house with contemporary artistic expression.
