So Autumn is trying very hard to poke its head through. I’m ok with this. As much as I love summer, I also love the crisp Autumn air, the changing of the leaves, hot coco and coats, jumpers and beanies. I’ve been putting a wishlist together for the next season. This season I have really been putting a lot of thought into what I need and what I would like to add to my wardrobe to tie it all together. I’ve asked myself what do I want my wardrobe to look like? How do I want to dress? Which pieces would l like to own? What is my dream style? Asking myself these questions keeps me from buying things I really don’t want or need. It helps me stick to my end goal. I want to look cool and comfy and chic and have really nice pieces that will carry on year after year. What pieces would you love to have in your wardrobe? Do you have the patience to save up and wait?
I encourage you to make a list of all the pieces you would like to have in your wardrobe this season. Then think about it. If you’re still thinking about it after many months, then buy it. I would suggest looking around at secondhand shops to see if you can find them there, like Vestiaire Collective or eBay, if not then save up a little each month until you can afford it. Why buy a few cheaper things that aren’t exactly what you want? Buy the piece you’ve been longing for. I’ve put together a list of some pieces I am really loving right now. Mainly neutrals that will coincide with what I already have in my wardrobe. Classic pieces that I can add a bit of my flavour too. Enjoy!
